Prior to opening the Murphy office Jon was a banking executive with First Union, Wachovia, Regions and First Horizon banks where he was a corporate banking manager and worked on many major merger and acquisition transactions. He obtained his Series 7 and 63 licenses in 1998. He is also a SC licensed real estate agent and also holds a limited commercial license in NC. Jon Swift has over 35 years in Commercial and Corporate Bank lending and finance advisory experience where he held a Series 7 broker license. His career in the evaluation of business risk is a perfect match for the buying and selling of businesses. This has provided Jon a broad industry experience serving as a financial consultant and risk assessment. During his banking career, Jon served as President of two Chamber of Commerce organizations along with multiple board positions on several not for profit organizations. In addition Jon has owned 3 businesses of his own and through these ownership experiences along with a very successful banking career, provides a unique skill set to assist clients in the buy-sell business transaction. He is a graduate of Newberry High School in SC; Lenoir Rhyne University with a BS in Business Administration. NC School of banking in Chapel Hill, NC. Currently a member of Greenville County Chamber of Commerce, LRU Alumni Board and Chairman/CFO of Palmetto State Roofing & Sheet Metal, Co, Inc. He is married with 3 daughters.
