Jason Lamoreaux leads the largest privately owned, local real estate company in the High Desert, with over 140 agents and seven offices servicing the High Desert under the renowned Coldwell Banker brand, the national’s largest real estate company. Jason’s passion for real estate started in 1989, when he began his career in the High Desert entitling and developing land. With a slowing economy, and looking to diversify his business portfolio to supplement real estate activities, Jason along with his new bride, Chris Lamoreaux, purchased an ailing car rental company in Palm Springs, California in 1991. From 1991 to 2004, the car rental company, originally under the Rent A Wreck franchise, grew from one location and thirteen cars, to one of the largest privately held car rental companies in the US, with fifteen locations from San Diego and Orange Counties, to California’s Central Valley and Las Vegas, Nevada, under the Thrifty Car Rental and Budget Rent A Car brands, with over 3,000 vehicles, 300 employees, and annual revenues exceeding $40m. An offer from Budget Rent A Car corporate in 2003 to purchase their company afforded Jason the opportunity to pursue his passion and return to real estate development. Shortly thereafter, Jason returned to Apple Valley, California and resumed with developing real estate in the High Desert. With the rapid expansion of the development company, and imminent requirement for a brokerage firm and asset management company, Jason expanded the firm to include a full suite of real estate services in 2004. By 2008, with the rapid growth of his real estate organization, Jason realized his firm would benefit significantly by an association with a national real estate firm. After extensive due diligence and inspection of the nation’s top real estate firms, Jason choose to affiliate with Coldwell Banker Commercial, the nation’s leading premier Commercial Real Estate organization, with over five hundred offices nationwide and over one hundred years of experience. Today, Jason enjoys continued success in the Real Estate industry with Coldwell Banker Commercial, which has assembled the top real estate professionals in the community. Coldwell Banker Commercial has been recognized consistently by the High Desert Association of Realtors as the number one commercial real estate firm each year since 2009, with Jason Lamoreaux brokering more commercial transactions over the past ten years than any other real estate professional in the High Desert. Jason Lamoreaux is a planning commissioner for the Town of Apple Valley, an active Rotarian and past President of the Rotary Club of Apple Valley, a Board member for the Successor Agency to the Victor Valley Economic Development Authority Oversight Board and on the Victor Valley College Foundation Board of Directors. Jason also serves on the Coldwell Banker Commercial ownership advisory council while maintaining membership with various associations including Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), National Association of Industrial and Office Professionals (NAIOP), Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Building Industry Association (BIA), High Desert Association of Realtors MLS (HDAOR) and the California Regional MLS (CRMLS).
