About Avanti Way

Avanti Way has been in business for over 35 years, brokered over 15,000 transactions and closed over $600MM in sales. Our Business Brokerage department was established in 2012 and currently has professionals that have 50+ years of combined experienced. We specialize in Business Brokerage and Commercial Real Estate. Born in Colombia, Jerry Stapel immigrated to the US at the end of 1992. Jerry and his wife Ana Maria have been married for 26 years and have two sons, Nicolas (21) and Santiago (17). He practices triathlon and enjoys outdoor activities. He worked in the private sector for about 10 years, the last 7 in a Fortune 100 company, where he was Director for Latin America. From 2002 he worked independently as a Financial Planner until 2011 when he ventured into Business Planning and Business Brokerage, a role he's expanded to include Commercial Real Estate Brokerage and Business Brokerage.

Financial Analysis. At Avanti Way we understand the sensitive nature of business sales and the financial information that is handled during the business brokerage process. We agree to keep your information strictly confidential through the negotiation process. Business Valuation. To prepare your business for sale, we will perform an internal analysis of your business financial information. Our business valuation expert will gather all historical and financial information about your business, compare it with similar businesses that have sold and are for sale (same industry) and calculate a market value for your business. Sign Listing Agreement. Your Avanti Way Business Broker will enter into an official Listing Agreement for the sale of your business. As part of this agreement, we will keep the status of your business confidential until a sale is closed Market & List Your Business. We will create and execute a marketing plan for your business. We will create a detailed informational package to highlight the value of your business. We will advertise the business opportunity via targeted campaigns as well as publish it on national and worldwide business brokerage networks. Qualify Buyers & Negotiate Offers. We will evaluate potential buyers based on their financial capabilities, expertise and degree of interest. We will advise you regarding the offers and negotiate with buyers. Due Diligence. We will guide you through the process (selling or buying) and help you coordinate with the different team of experts that you'll need to verify the information if your buying (Due Diligence). Closing. Our office will help you coordinate the flow of information and documents between the parties and their respective representatives (attorneys, CPA's, etc) and guide you through the closing procedures.
